…Should it be real butter or ??? This is a question we are constantly being asked in relation to our cup cakes.

The answer from us is yes as we like the fact that we use unsalted butter, but we will admit that we are slowly being moved towards the ‘margarine’ lobby. We are currently using ‘I can’t believe its not butter’ and have found that even Clover Lighter works well .

Mary Berry swears by stork and so does my mom…you do get a better rise with stork than you do from butter, and they have now brought out a liquid stork which is brilliant for our special cup cake recipe….

Hope this clears up a few dilema’s before the rush to make the Christmas Cup Cakes..
